Koru invites you to retreat into our tranquil space….whether to enjoy a quiet moment for yourself to rest, or to cherish time with Family & Friends. Our menu offering means you can enjoy visiting us as a cafe for a Peaceful light lunch, coffee and cake, or as a restaurant, and always with full table service…. so we invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy a Peaceful Pause without the need to queue for service.

Koru Peaceful Pizza was founded in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne in 2020 as a Mindful Cafe and Artisan Restaurant. We are so grateful that we were fortunate enough to be able to open, despite being mid lockdown! Most importantly we are so glad to be part of such a wonderful community.

We are open from Tuesday to Sunday, from Midday until 10pm, offering our full menu.
Other things you might like to know about us:
- We operate a BYO policy inviting you to bring your own choice of wine or beer if you prefer, for a small corkage charge per person.
- We are also licensed to serve our selection of Koru Peaceful Wines and Beers to be enjoyed alongside our menu offering.
- Our Peace Garden is an outside space, surrounded by our hedging created in recycled planters, meaning the chance to dine alfresco (Weather Permitting!).
- We are dog friendly and Peaceful Puppies are welcome to enjoy a Peaceful Puppacino on the House!
- As a mindful cafe and restaurant, Koru has been created with Nature in mind. You will find many plants throughout, making Koru a green, vibrant space. Also approximately 95% of our furnishings, fittings and decor is upcycled.
- We appreciate and respect that we all have personal and individual relationships with food. At Koru we aim to support all food choices and needs wherever possible. We offer a range of possible menu choices including options that are vegetarian, vegan and also with non-gluten ingredients.
- We have a family friendly policy and offer a Koru Kids menu alongside adult meals. We also have regular Koru Kids Colouring competitions at key seasonal holidays.
- Our food menu is all available to takeaway and to pre order via telephone or in person.
